where do you find information that you can trust?
it varies depending on what kind of information, but usually it would be from a reliable source with credibility. even then i may choose not to trust the information. i also find information from other people, and i would usually trust the info they’re giving me if i trust the person.
where do you get your local news?
i don’t really get any local news here in oakland but when i was in korea my mom always read newspapers and pointed out the interesting articles and i’d read them. the “uninteresting ones” that my mom still felt like i should know she usually just told me herself over something like dinner. or we would usually turn on the radio when we eat dinner and listen to different talk shows and get local news from there as well.
why do you trust that source?
i trust sources like the newspapers and radio and people because the society lives based on trust and if i must put a “why” i would say that i don’t have a choice but to trust these sources because i can’t experience everything and it’s kind of like that “give and take” where someone would tell me something they learned and i’d tell him/her something i have learned.
is it important for you to know what’s going on? why?
i don’t think it’s so important that you are desperate to know everything of what’s going on but to have some sort of an idea of how the world is changing is necessary.
